Glycerine
Add one or two tablespoons of glycerine into your cake batter for a longer lasting, softer and moister cake.
For silkier buttercream less prone to drying out, add half-to-one teaspoon of glycerine for every 500g of icing sugar.
And to prevent Royal Icing from setting too firm, add one teaspoon of glycerine for every 500g of icing sugar after the icing has formed stiff peaks.
Store at ambient room temperature.
