Cupcake Recipe

  • 225g Cake Margarine
  • 225g Caster Sugar
  • 225g Self-raising Flour
  • 4 Eggs

Instructions (Cupcakes)

  1. Preheat the oven 180oC/Fan 160oC/Gas Mark 4. Then place Cupcake cases into a bun tray.
  2. Mix together the caster sugar & cake margarine into a bowl, and beat until light & fluffy. Then add the eggs, a little at a time, and finally add the flour.
  3. Separate the cake mix into four bowls, then add a different colour of ProGel into each one using Orange, Red, Bright Green & Black. Mix until even in colour, and then pour into separate piping bags.
  4. Place cupcake cases into a bun tray and pipe small amounts of colour into each of the cases. Place into the oven for 20-25 minutes. Leave to cool before decorating.

To Decorate 

  1. Add frosting into a bowl, then colour using Bright Green ProGel Food Colour, and mix until even.
  2. Place into a piping bag with a star tube, and pipe swirls of colour onto each cupcake.
  3. Sprinkle over the swirls with Witches Brew Sugar Crystals.
  4. Then use Flower & Modelling Paste, adding ProGel to colour. Then use a variety of moulds & cutters to make the decorations. Leave to firm. Then add touches of colour & sparkle using Edible Glitter, brushing the area first with Edible Glue.
